Instrumentation Installation and Monitoring
TLB has considerable experience with geotechnical instrumentation as we have been involved with the installation and monitoring of a variety of instruments. We have installed various types of geotechnical instrumentation to monitor construction of the Mass Transit Administration's Johns Hopkins Station in Baltimore, Maryland as well as the Rosalie Island Soil Preconsolidation and Initial Grading for the new Woodrow Wilson Bridge project in Prince George’s County Maryland.
We were involved with the installation and monitoring of various instrumentation packages at numerous segments of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority's (WMATA) subway system construction program.
As part of a joint venture with Geocomp Corp. of Boxborough Massachusetts, we were awarded a 6-year, $10,000,000.00 contract for the project wide instrumentation monitoring program at the Central Artery and New Harbor Tunnel project in Boston Massachusetts, considered the largest highway construction project in U.S. history.
